Kemi Badenoch has shut down Nigel Farage's prediction about the electoral future of the Tory Party with a defiant two-word response to her Reform rival.
In a sit-down interview with GB News, Badenoch appeared unphased by Farage's comments, instead insisting that the Clacton MP is hellbent on destroying the Tories.
Farage, who is hoping to make inroads into much of Tory-voting England tomorrow, predicted the Conservative Party could face extinction by the next General Election.
Speaking to the People's Channel, Farage said: “The Tories won't exist by the time of the next election.

“I mean, what you're going to see from the 2021 vote is a lot of old Conservative voters come to us and a chunk go to the Lib Dems as well.
“I don’t honestly, and I know they've been here since 1832, but I don't believe they'll be an electoral force at the next election.”
In a two-word response to the Reform UK leader, Badenoch emphatically said: "He wishes."
She added: "The Conservative Party is the longest existing democratic party in the history of democracy.

"We have a great history. We've had ups and downs, but that doesn't mean that we are out.
"And what I'm doing is making sure that the Conservative Party does more than just survive, that it thrives.
"And that is what we're working on, fighting for every single vote and rebuilding trust with the public."
There has been no love lost between Badenoch and Farage following an almighty bust-up on Boxing Day last year.
Badenoch accused Reform of fiddling its membership figures after the populist party soared past the Tories in grassroots support.
However, a group of journalists confirmed the figure, which now stands above 220,000, was accurate.
Farage has since identified Badenoch's North West Essex seat as a major target for Reform UK.
Meanwhile, Badenoch has accused Reform UK of being a "protest party" and claimed Farage is in "showbusiness" rather than politics.
