The Princess of Wales travelled in a car alongside Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as they arrived at Buckingham Palace for the exciting day.

Kate, 43, wore a blue Catherine Walker blue outfit with white collars alongside a beautiful Juliette Botterill blue hat.

The Catherine Walker "Bria" dress has the following description: "A deep aquamarine wool coatdress with ivory contrast lapels and cuffs. Also seen here in guards red and black."

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Edinburgh arrived in a car at Buckingham Palace alongside Prince Edward today.

Once King Charles has arrived at Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, he will be greeted by a royal salute

The King, 76, will carry out an inspection of the troops, who are fully trained and operational soldiers wearing the ceremonial uniform of red tunics and bearskin hats.

First performed during the reign of Charles II (1660–1685), in 1748 it was decided that the parade of Trooping the Colour should mark the official birthday of the Sovereign.

Kate's appearance at Trooping the Colour in 2025 comes after her grand return to the ceremony last year.

The mother-of-three had spent the first half of 2024 recuperating due to cancer treatment.

Last year, Kate wore a repurposed Jenny Packham dress that made several nods to Audrey Hepburn's character Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
