Sir Paul Marshall

Paul Marshall is a businessman and philanthropist who is an investor in GB News in a personal capacity. He is a passionate believer in restoring prosperity and voice to Britain’s regions. His other media interests include UnHerd, which promotes new thinking in politics and he is also a published author and an occasional contributor to the Financial Times and other newspapers.

He is chairman and chief investment officer of Marshall Wace, a hedge fund with some £45bn under management. He is a co-founder and Chair of ARK Schools, a multi-academy trust of 38 schools and was knighted in 2016 for services to education and philanthropy.
