Television star Lizzie Cundy launched a scathing attack on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during a GB News appearance, branding them "complete failures" who "blew it" by missing today's Trooping the Colour ceremony.
"They whinge, they moan, they criticise and they are not very grateful. They had it all," Cundy said on the programme.
The socialite expressed particular frustration about the couple's absence from the King's official birthday celebrations. "Watching Trooping the Colour today, I get the sense they really missed out. They really blew it," she told viewers.
Cundy didn't hold back in her assessment of the Sussexes' achievements since stepping back from royal duties. "The only thing they are good at is spending money," she claimed during Nana Akua's GB News show.

Cundy revealed she had a personal connection to the Duchess before her royal romance began. "I was a dating service for Meghan Markle and she ghosted me," she disclosed on GB News.
The television personality explained that their friendship ended abruptly once Meghan began her relationship with Prince Harry.

"She didn't answer me back when she got with Prince Harry. I didn't work for her again and I can understand why people are leaving her," Cundy said.
Her comments suggest she had assisted Meghan with her romantic life before the actress met the Duke of Sussex.
The claim of being "ghosted" indicates Cundy felt their friendship was discarded once Meghan entered royal circles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were notably absent from today's Trooping the Colour ceremony, continuing their pattern of non-attendance at major royal events. Harry and Meghan last participated in the parade in 2019, months before stepping back from royal duties.
The couple did attend the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022 but were not included on the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance.
Since their departure from working royal status in 2020, they have been excluded from most high-profile royal occasions.

Under King Charles's reign, only working royals receive invitations to official engagements. The Sussexes, who reside in Montecito, California with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were not extended a formal invitation to this year's ceremony.
Cundy contrasted the Sussexes' behaviour with King Charles's dedication to royal duties despite his health challenges.
"Look at King Charles today, working with cancer. Incredible," she said during Nana Akua's GB News show.
She criticised Meghan for lacking understanding of royal responsibilities. "It's really sad she didn't have a sense of duty and she didn't know what it was like to be a royal," Cundy stated.
The television personality emphasised the demanding nature of royal life. "Being a royal is hard work and you've got to have a sense of duty," she told viewers.
Her comments highlighted what she perceived as a fundamental difference between the monarch's commitment to service and the Sussexes' approach to their former royal roles.
