The footballing icon appears to have no plans to retire anytime soon and has just penned a new contract with Al-Nassr, the Saudi side he has been with after his second Manchester United spell went wrong.
After joining Al-Nassr in December 2022, he penned a contract that would see him tied to the club until the summer of 2025 and with the expiration date dawning, there was speculation over his future in the sport.
But the 40-year-old has signed a new deal that will astonishingly see him play until 2027, which will take him beyond his 42nd birthday.

But as well as being obsessed with scoring goals, Ronaldo also has another job to go through with after being appointed Global Ambassador for the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh earlier this month.
The Esports World Cup Foundation confirmed that the footballing icon would headline the tournament's global campaign, which will get underway this summer over a seven-week period.
"Sport is always evolving and esports is one more frontier," Ronaldo stated on social media.
"The commitment, drive, talent, and intensity I have been able to see in esports athletes is no different from what I've experienced on the pitch.
"I'm proud to stand alongside these competitors and be part of a global event that's inspiring a new generation."
Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, praised the appointment: "Cristiano Ronaldo connects generations from lifelong football fans to today's emerging competitors.
"His pursuit of greatness mirrors the spirit of the Esports World Cup: the biggest stage for the best players."

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to continue his playing career with Al-Nassr and could spearhead Portugal's attack at the World Cup next year
GETTYRonaldo's new contract also potentially sees him continue his playing career with Portugal, who recently won the Nations League after beating Spain in the final earlier this month.
With the World Cup next year going ahead in the United States, Canada and Mexico, it could see a potential final match-up between Ronaldo and rival Lionel Messi.
Argentina are reigning champions after winning the tournament in 2022 in Qatar and Messi, who will be 39 next year, could be headlining their attack - as Ronaldo might be for Portugal.
There was speculation that the two footballing maestros could face off at the Club World Cup.

With Ronaldo's contract at Al-Nassr inching closer to its expiration, it appeared that the veteran forward was ready to leave the Saudi club.
Several clubs were interested in the ex-Real Madrid star, including many playing in the Club World Cup.
Reports indicated that Moroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca were the shock frontrunners for his signature, who are grouped with Manchester City and former side Juventus, as well as Abu Dhabi-based team Al-Ain.
Such a move could have seen them eventually face Messi's Inter Miami in the knockout stage if both teams qualified from their respective groups.
