Black Lives Matter (BLM) is under fire after one of its branches showing support for Palestine with an online graphic of a paratrooper.
Black Lives Matter Chicago posted the image amid mass condemnation for Hamas and its terrorist attacks in Israel.
The chapter of the divisive organisation is one of the ‘#BLM10’, a group of anti-racist groups that is separate to the main parent organisation, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation but shares its name and similar views on issues.
On Tuesday they posted a black and white image of a paratrooper, with a Palestinian flag and the caption: “I stand with Palestine”.

The image appeared to reference Hamas paragliders that invaded Israeli territory on Saturday as the group inflicted heinous acts of terror.
Speaking on GB News, presenter Patrick Christys hit out at the “incredibly marxist” Black Lives Matter, arguing that BLM Chicago’s actions are reflective of the group’s ethos as a whole.

“We have taken the knee before football matches, we’ve had it indoctrinated into our kids”, he said.
“Some people who actually bother to look at what the BLM organisation stand for are at pains to say there is a difference between that and the actual words.
“They stood for marxism and the extinction of the nuclear family and we gobbled it all up.
“And look at where we are now, a Palestinian paratrooper.”
Former Deputy Chair of UKIP Suzanne Evans waded in on the discussion by adding that she is “not surprised” by the social media post.
“It has always been fairly obvious that Black Lives Matter is not about equal rights”, she said.
“It has always been a violent, marxist, anarchist organisation. It pushes for instance, Critical Race Theory, which suggests that legal discrimination against white people should be allowed.”
Hamas members used parachutes to evade Israel’s air defence system on the Gaza border before reaching a music festival on the other side of the wall.
They shot 260 people, raped women and took hostages back to the Gaza Strip.
The group faced criticism from social media users including X CEO Elon Musk, who said “your position is clear”.
There is no “official” version of Black Lives Matter, given how it is a decentralised political organisation.
Black Lives Matter Chicago is one of its biggest affiliates, with its Facebook group verified and more than 100,000 followers combined on its social media platforms.
The group delivers petitions to the city’s council and runs food banks.
