Reuben Owen’s girlfriend made a touching appearance on his Channel 5 show this week, opening up about their blossoming romance and her close relationship with his family.
Jessica Ellwood, who has been dating Reuben for eight months, featured in the latest episode of Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, which aired on Tuesday.
The episode followed the 21-year-old as he tackled several projects across the Dales, including the renovation of a cottage he co-owns with his father, Our Yorkshire Farm star Clive Owen.
As part of the episode, Reuben teamed up with Jessica, who also comes from a farming background, for a practical job constructing a sheep pen on a large farm.

While speaking directly to the camera, Jessica reflected on her relationship with Reuben and how naturally they bonded from the beginning.
“Ever since we first met, we just clicked. I think it’s because I’m from a farming background, so is Reuben,” she explained.
The young farmer then shared a sweet statement about the Owen family that touched viewers: “Love his family, get on great with them.”

Jessica’s affection for both Reuben and his relatives was clear as she gushed, “I just love him to bits.”
Reuben was equally full of praise for Jessica, commending her work ethic and skill on the farm.
“Me and Jess have been together a while now. We’re always working together on all sorts of different things. She’s absolutely brilliant on any piece of kit, really,” he said.
With a smile, he added: “I haven’t found anything that’s beaten her, yet!”

The fondness for Jessica appears to be reciprocated by many of Reuben's family, with mum Amanda and sister Raven regularly 'liking' loved-up posts of the two on social media.
Meanwhile, The latest instalment of the Channel 5 reality series documented the early stages of Reuben’s ambitious cottage renovation.
The stone-built property in Thwaite, which Reuben purchased alongside his dad, has long been in his plans, but the scale of the project appeared overwhelming as he and his friends surveyed the site.
Due to the rapid growth of Reuben’s machinery and digging business, he revealed that the refurbishment had taken a backseat.
Rather than turning the cottage into a personal residence, he now hopes to renovate and sell it in order to fund the purchase of another property.
Fans of Our Yorkshire Farm have followed Reuben since his childhood days on the popular Channel 5 show, and have watched as he forges his own path while maintaining a strong relationship with his family.
