A Labour Council candidate, 19, claims he has been targeted after the windscreen of his car was smashed by a brick.
Robson Augusta, who hopes to become the youngest councillor on North East Lincolnshire Council, said more needs to be done to tackle anti-social behaviour.
He said he thought the damage, which has put a stop to his driving lessons, was deliberate as his parents cars, parked next to his, were left unharmed.
Mr Augusta explained: "We have no idea who has done it. There were three vehicles on the drive but it was mine that got hit right on the windscreen and missed the other cars. I can't be 100 percent certain it was targeted, but there hasn't been any other damage done to anyone else.”

He added: "It was a full brick that bounced off and landed near the car. It has affected my mum's work plans because she uses it too. But I have lost the ability to use it for driving practice. Things like this don't happen very often in Scartho, let alone down Southfield Road.
"But there has been a rise in anti-social behaviour lately and it is time we began listening to the community to see what should be done to prevent it escalating."
He explained his brother Alfie, 16, had his bicycle stolen the year before.
Mr Robson hopes to represent Scartho in the forthcoming North East Lincolnshire Council local elections on May 5.
He said more needed to be done by the council and charitable organisations to create spaces for “people to express themselves safely” and without “getting involved in harm or causing anti-social behaviour.”
