The Duke of York has not appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony since 2019
Princesses Eugenie and Princess Beatrice "understand the optics of Prince Andrew on the balcony", according to a PR expert, as an upcoming event hangs in the balance.
Trooping the Colour will take place on June 15, and it has not been confirmed yet whether or not the Duke of York and his daughters will attend the ceremony.
Prince Andrew, 64, has not appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony since 2019, as he stepped back from public life almost five years ago following his disastrous Newsnight interview.
The father-of-two discussed his friendship with the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, which was met with huge backlash from the British public.

In order to keep Andrew off the Buckingham Palace balcony in 2022 during the Platinum Jubilee, the late Queen Elizabeth II announced that only working members of the Royal Family would be allowed to appear.
This meant his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, who in previous years had always appeared on the balcony, were also not allowed.
Rhea Freeman, a multi-award-winning PR adviser spoke exclusively to GB News, claiming that King Charles should allow his nieces to appear on the balcony, even if Andrew is barred.
She said: "Absolutely, depending on their future roles, the sisters could be well-received.
"The fact Prince Andrew is not allowed should not impact whether or not his daughters can be there.
"Both attended a recent garden party to support the monarch and Prince William, which definitely made a statement.
"I can’t see any reason why they shouldn’t appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony, based on this."
Freeman also explained whether or not Beatrice and Eugenie could feel complicated by appearing on the balcony despite being loyal to their father.

PAShe added: "I would hope not, I think the fact they did attend the garden party shows their support of the monarchy.
"Equally, they’re both bright women who will understand the optics of Prince Andrew on the balcony.
"I would hope that they won’t feel like it’s a question of loyalty as it’s not an either-or situation.
"They can still be daughters who love their father and support the King."
