Judy Murray has revealed she "feels sorry" for male guests in Wimbledon's Royal Box due to the strict dress rules they must follow.
Speaking on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with The National Lottery on Virgin Radio UK, the tennis coach and mother of Andy and Jamie Murray explained the challenging conditions men face.
She said: "It's really tough when the sun comes round because there's no escape."
"It's actually I think worse for the guys because they have to wear a jacket and tie and they're not allowed to take the jacket off unless the royalty in the box takes their jacket off first. That's the protocol."

The strict protocol extends beyond just wearing jackets in the heat.
Murray described the formal atmosphere that begins when guests arrive at approximately 11.30am for a champagne reception before proceeding to lunch in the All England Club's clubhouse.
David Beckham exemplified these rules during his appearance earlier this week.

Beckham had flown in overnight from Atlanta, where his Inter Miami team had been eliminated from the Club World Cup, to attend the opening day of The Championships.
Murray shared her experiences of the Royal Box's social aspects, describing how guests mingle without formal seating arrangements.

She explained: "Well, you arrive usually around 11.30, so you go upstairs, they have a champagne reception, then you go in for lunch and you could be sitting beside absolutely anybody at lunch.
"There's no seating plan, it's just as you go into the room."
She recalled memorable encounters from previous visits. "The first year that I went I took my mum, of course, and we sat with Jack Nicklaus. I sat with a few years ago a lady who was the first female Spitfire pilot.
