King Charles has been forced to close Balmoral Castle for two days due to a volatile storm in Scotland.
The worst-affected regions in the UK will see more than a month's worth of rain as a result of Storm Babet.
A statement posted on the Balmoral Estate's website and social media channels said: "Due to adverse weather warnings, Balmoral Estate will be closed to the public on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th October.
"A red and amber weather warning for heavy rainfall and severe wind has been issued for Aberdeenshire which is expected to cause severe flooding and disruption.
King Charles recently spent time at Balmoral to mark the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death.

"We will be monitoring the conditions and will provide a further update on our weekend opening hours this Friday."
Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Steven Keates said regarding the storm: "Storm Babet will bring impactful rain to many parts of the UK, but especially parts of eastern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England later this week.
"Heavy and persistent rain will fall onto already saturated ground bringing a risk of flooding.
"It is important to stay up to date with warnings from your local flood warning agency as well as the local authorities.
"As well as heavy rain, Storm Babet will bring some very strong winds and large waves near some eastern coasts too.
"Gusts in excess of 60mph are possible in eastern and northern Scotland from Thursday.
"It is likely Met Office warnings will be updated through the week."
