Brooklyn Beckham is understood to have told his family he wants “no contact” with them, marking a heartbreaking new chapter in the escalating feud between the eldest Beckham son and his parents, David and Victoria.

The 26-year-old and his wife, actress and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, 30, have found themselves at the centre of growing tension with the Beckham family.

Insiders claim the former footballer and fashion designer are increasingly concerned about the influence Nicola has over their son.

A source told Page Six: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect."

According to the publication, Brooklyn failed to communicate with his parents following the announcement of David Beckham’s knighthood, which he reportedly learned about the honour through the media.

However, a source close to Brooklyn denied he had requested to cut contact, telling the outlet: “Everyone’s focus should be David Beckham’s great honour.”

Amid the fallout, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz, 20, has appeared to publicly align himself with their parents.

On Monday, the budding musician debuted a dramatic hairstyle reminiscent of Victoria’s iconic ‘Posh crop’ from 2008. The sleek new look was interpreted by some as a subtle show of support for his mother.

Behind the scenes, tensions have reportedly become so fraught that Cruz is now taking extra steps to avoid any chance of crossing paths with Brooklyn.

Last month, The Daily Mail revealed that he has contacted owners of the family’s favourite locations in advance to check whether Brooklyn would be present, even requesting to be notified if his brother later arrives.

In May, Brooklyn shared a video on Instagram that many saw as a pointed message to his family.

In the clip, he took Nicola on a romantic early morning motorbike ride, captioning it: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.”

A source close to his parents told The Sun: “It shows how much this situation with his family has escalated. It’s very sad for everyone involved, especially David and Victoria who love him very much. This isn’t the Brooklyn his family knows and loves. This post was like a dagger to their hearts but they will always be there for Brooklyn.”

Cruz appeared to respond to the situation shortly after with his own Instagram post: “I love my family. I love you guys more than anything, mum and dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we are to have you in our lives.”

Last month, Brooklyn skipped his father’s 50th birthday celebrations.

Despite travelling to London with Nicola for a fashion campaign shoot with Moncler just miles from the family’s Holland Park home, it is believed that Brooklyn did not inform his parents of the trip.

Even more heartbreaking is the impact on Brooklyn’s youngest sibling, Harper, who turns 14 in July.

Once especially close to Brooklyn and Nicola - who often called her “my younger sister” online - questions now loom over whether her eldest brother will attend her birthday celebrations.
