Princess Kate has consistently worn trouser suits since returning to royal duties in September, totalling a number of seven.
In comparison, before the summer holidays, the Princess of Wales tended to wear dresses as opposed to trousers, such as her two Wimbledon final appearances.
Royal watchers have noticed that in the year since the late Queen's death, Kate's style has undergone a shift.
Style expert Miranda Holder told Hello!: "Princess Kate’s image has definitely taken on a more business-like feel ever since she became the Princess of Wales.

"Her more serious wardrobe reflects the gravitas of her heavyweight role within the Firm."
The shift in Kate's sense of style has everything to do with her progression from the Duchess of Cambridge to the Princess of Wales, according to the expert.
Holder added: "She has literally been rebranded in line with her new level of authority as the Princess of Wales and her position as our future Queen."
Kensington Palace recently claimed they would stop crediting brands and designers when Kate makes a public appearance, in order to direct more of the attention to the princess's work.

Despite this, the princess's style remains incredibly popular, with her clothes selling out as soon as they're identified.
Holder commented: "Kate has remained faithful to the same 'fashion formula' with her tailoring - choosing neutral colours which feel less frivolous than the prints and bright hues of the past.
"In line with the Palace withholding details of her looks, this is most likely an attempt to detract from the princess’s fashion and refocus our attention on the cause at hand."
The professional stylist gave her opinion on the best trouser suit Kate has worn since Queen Elizabeth's death.

Holder referenced the scarlet Alexander McQueen trouser suit that the Princess of Wales wore to launch the Shaping Us Campaign.
She said: "The colour was absolutely perfect on her.
"From the asymmetric cut of the jacket with its razor-sharp shoulders to the flare of the trouser together with the drape of the fabric, every element of the tailoring added movement and just a little bit of drama - it was sublime."
