The Princess of York hosts the Floodlight podcast with her good friend Julia de Boinville

Princess Eugenie's anti-slavery podcast Floodlight is returning for a second series, with a former Prime Minister booked as the series' first guest.

Eugenie and her friend Julia de Boinville co-founded the Anti-Slavery Collective in 2017, of which Theresa May sits on the advisory board.

The Princess of York is now ready to return to work, after giving birth to her second son Ernest Brooksbank in May.

Sarah Ferguson's younger daughter took to Instagram to announce the news, disclosing that series two of Floodlight will hit the airwaves next month.

May is set to be the new series' first guest and during her time as Home Secretary, she introduced the Modern Slavery Act.

As Prime Minister, she created a modern slavery taskforce, launched a UN Call to Action to eliminate modern slavery, and established the Policy and Evidence Centre on Modern Slavery and Human Rights.

Speaking in their Instagram video, Julia de Boinville said she and Eugenie have worked on the second series of the podcast for "a long, long time".

According to the host, the guests on the new series will include "sports stars, charity leaders, musicians", and many others.
