The Royal Family is “likely” to have a private wake for Prince Philip as they meet to celebrate the life of the Duke of Edinburgh.
The ceremony at the Westminster Abbey will pay tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh's dedication to “family, nation and Commonwealth”.
It will be a chance for those to pay tribute to Philip after Covid-19 restrictions stopped it at lasy April's funeral.
Speaking on GB News ahead of the event, royal expert Katie Nicholl thinks the Queen will want to catch up with some friends and acquaintances she hasn't seen for a long time.

When asked whether there will be a wake for Philip, Ms Nicholl said: “I think they probably will be, don’t forget this is the first time the Queen will be in London for many, many months.
“If she’s feeling well this morning, the hope would be there’s a chance to catch up with some friends and acquaintances for a very long time.”
Members of the Royal Family descended on the abbey to celebrate the life of Philip, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Andrew, Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as many more.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and the King and Queen of both Sweden and Spain also attended the event.
