The trailer for Cocaine Bear has been released with the movie set to come out in 2023.
Announced earlier this year, film fanatics were quick to question its storyline and the inspiration behind it.
Unbelievably, the plot is based on a true story.
One user wrote “most anticipated movie of 2023” while another shared an image of Martic Scorsese saying “this is cinema”.
Universal Pictures
In 1985 a 175lb black bear ate a duffel bag full of cocaine after Andrew Thornton, a convicted drug smuggler, abandoned it.
The bear then overdosed and its body was found three months later next to 40 plastic containers of cocaine.
In the movie however, the bear proceeds to go on a rampage, attacking and murdering anyone who gets in its way.
Eager movie fanatics were quick to react to the trailer with many sharing their excitement on Twitter.
