The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are switching strategy to increase their popularity, according to a royal author.
The couple are expected to change their image from last year as Meghan hints of “exciting things on the slate.”
Royal author, Phil Dampier, told Fabulous: “I think Harry and Meghan have realised that their image in the last year has been totally negative and they are associated with moaning and winging about the royal family and their lot in general.
“Probably advised by their PR people they look like they will play things differently in 2024.”

The Duke and Duchess faced a challenging year in 2023 with the release of Harry’s memoir Spare receiving mixed reviews.
But Dampier said that the royals “want to fight back and show they can do good works, but also that they are enjoying themselves and can have fun.”
Mark Borkowski, a top crisis manager in the UK said that 2024 could be “seismic” for Harry and Meghan.
He told the MailOnline: “Something is beginning to unwind at the heart of Meghan and Harry. I think 2024 is going to be seismic, either because they're going to do something to recover and find a new positive tactic or it's going to be the undoing of the brand.”

McElhenney posted a throwback post to a 2023 photo of himself with prince Harry and Glenn Howerton at a sports bar.
Dampier said that it would be good for Harry to hang out with McElhenney to chill out and talk about sports.
Meghan recently made a cameo appearance in a coffee ad where she was seen packing boxes and working with the online team.

Dampier said: “Meghan’s appearance in the coffee ad is trying to show her in a down to earth way, being on the same level as normal workers, and a brief glimpse of her gives the impression she’s not hogging the limelight.”
It has been hinted that Meghan may change her image by relaunching her blog, The Tig, which closed in 2017.
Dampier added: “There has been a lot of speculation about what Meghan will do next, maybe a lifestyle blog like Gwyneth Paltrow.”
