Joao Pedro marked his Chelsea debut with a memorable first goal for the club, finding the net against his former team Fluminense.

Earlier in the match, Fluminense were awarded a penalty when a player flicked the ball onto Trevoh Chalobah's arm, though it appeared to be by his side in what seemed a harsh decision.
However, VAR intervened to overturn the spot-kick, with the referee determining that Chalobah's arm was in a natural position.
