Peter Andre has suggested Prince Harry is wrong to vilify the media despite his grievances.
The GB News presenter has found himself in a similar position to the Duke of Sussex before, having been the victim of a phone hacking by a journalist.
Despite saying he felt “betrayed” by the incident, Andre added it was important to remember the positive things done by the media.
He told GB News: “You have got to look on the other side that a lot of journalists are very nice and a lot of media is very nice”, he said.
“When you want them, they can be very kind to you, so I don’t think it should be made out that all media is bad, because I don’t think it is.”
“I won a case years ago on this”, he said.
“Obviously not as high profile as Prince Harry, but I look at all the wonderful things done by the media. But Harry is on a mission. He is going through a very different thing.”
Andre went on to admit he accepts his additional publicity “comes with the territory” of celebrity status, meaning he can’t expect full “privacy”.
“I have put myself out there in the public and I’m asking for privacy”, he said.
“It comes with the territory. It’s very different for Prince Harry because he might be spurred on by what happened years ago with his mother.”
