BREAKING -The UK is to send hundreds military personnel to Eastern Europe amid continued tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

350 British troops are being sent to Poland on top of more than 100 Royal Engineers who were sent to help in the recent border dispute between Poland and Belarus.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said the additional troops were being sent as a bilateral agreement to show "Britain and Poland stand side by side."
