The highly request flavour will return to Pringle's standard line-up

Pringles has announced that its Honey Mustard, which blends the sweet taste of honey with a spicy kick, will return to supermarket shelves.

The potato chip company teased fans for days after announcing that a widely requested flavour would be revived.

Loyal customers have been going wild on social media since the product was quietly discontinued in 2022, but their wish to see the crisps return has now been granted.

The company decided to revive the flavour after it collected thousands of social media posts begging for its revival.

Pringles are sold in 21 different flavours

The flavour will join the permanent line-up alongside other beloved flavours like Sour Cream & Onion, and Salt & Vinegar.

Mauricio Jenkins, US marketing lead for Pringles, told Food & Wine: “Pringles Honey Mustard has an incredibly passionate fanbase.

“In fact, it was our most asked-for flavour from the brand in the last two years.

“Our die-hard fans’ efforts paid off, and the delicious tangy and subtly sweet Pringles Honey Mustard crisps are returning to shelves… for good!”

Honey Mustard Pringles come coated with mustard and myriad other seasonings, including turmeric, paprika and garlic powder.

Additional sweetness from honey creates a contrast in flavours that fans couldn’t get enough of.

The prices of the products are no different from one flavour to another, meaning shoppers can buy an original packet of Pringles for the same price as Sour Cream and Onion.

Since its inauguration in 1968, Pringles has offered a range of 21 flavours to its consumers.

Fans were utterly disappointed when the produce was discontinued in 2022

Gene Wolfe is credited with being the person who invented the machine that created the unique shape of the potato crisps.

Statistics suggest that the most popular Pringles flavours, namely Original, Salt Vinegar and BBQ, are almost always in production.

Fans are hoping the beloved flavour will eventually be sold as smaller Snack Stacks or Grab & Go sizes.

One fan wrote on Reddit: “Never had these before. Wowwww!! Thought they’d be a good dessert for the week, but that box was gone in one hour love. Buy at your own risk!!!”
