Omid Scobie has compared himself to Princess Kate in a fresh rant on social media.

The Princess of Wales has not been seen since December 2023, as she underwent abdominal surgery in January.

No further details have been released regarding the operation, although Kensington Palace announced that Kate, 42, had returned home after spending 13 days in The London Clinic.

On Tuesday, the Palace provided a brief health update, announcing that the princess was "doing well".

This update came as Prince William unexpectedly dropped out of attending a planned memorial service in St George's Chapel for the late King Constantine.

Royal biographer Omid Scobie, who is often referred to as a mouthpiece for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, has taken to social media to offer his opinion on the Princess of Wales's privacy.

Scobie wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "While I firmly believe the Princess of Wales should be allowed to recover without disturbance or prying, it's bizarre to me that the same conscience-free papers who hack, harass, who made me feel unsafe by flying drones to stalk me, have suddenly learned the meaning of privacy."

The royal commentator added a screenshot of a story from The Mirror on his social media post, which enquired about Scobie's whereabouts after publishing Endgame last November.

Endgame included multiple statements about the Princess of Wales, where the author referred to her as "Stepford-wife-like".

In addition, Kate and King Charles were named, as a result of a publishing error, as the two royals involved in the alleged racism row over Prince Archie's skin colour in the Dutch version of the book.

This book came three years after Scobie's controversial biography of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Finding Freedom.

In 2021, the duchess apologised in court for failing to remember authorising a senior aide to brief Scobie and Durand.

The Duchess of Sussex submitted a statement saying she could not remember emails she had sent to her press secretary, Jason Knauf, about the unauthorised book.

Princess Kate, 42, has since returned home to Adelaide Cottage following her "successful" surgery.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the mother-of-three is unlikely to return to royal duties until after Easter.

Prince William, 41, is busy taking care of his wife and three children at their home in Windsor Great Park.
