A former foreign advisor to the US House Foreign Affairs Committee claims Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "intruding and distracting from far more important matters" after the King was diagnosed with cancer.
King Charles was diagnosed with cancer earlier this week and Buckingham Palace confirmed that he is receiving treatment.
Prince Harry then flew to the UK for a whirlwind visit in which he saw his father for a reported 45 minutes before returning home to Meghan and his two children.
Lee Cohen told GB News that America is "concerned" for King Charles following his cancer diagnosis.

PAHarry quit his position as a senior royal in January 2020 and moved to the US.
He has since done various interviews about the Royal Family and criticised them heavily in his memoir, Spare, which was released last year.
Speaking to GBN America Lee Cohen, an ex-UK adviser to the US House of Foreign Affairs, said: "Confronting the mortality of one's beloved and long-forgiving parent is life-changing.

"If anything good is to come of this experience, let's hope that it moves Harry to beg forgiveness and change his ways.
"The crime in all of this is just when our attention should be on The King himself as always, speculation about the Sussexes intrudes and distracts from far more important matters, as it did with her beloved Majesty's funeral and so much else."
Speaking on the Duchess of Sussex he said: "Meghan is another matter. She is scheming, vindictive, and dare I say it, dangerous.
"In my opinion, she should never be allowed anywhere near her husband's family moving forward.

"She's not someone that has great relationships with her own family. She's attributed to driving a wedge with Harry, his family, and his country."
The King has postponed all public-facing duties but will continue with behind-the-scenes work on his red boxes of state papers.
Cohen expressed that America is wishing the monarch well.
He said: "I want to wish every good outcome for the King and pray for his swift and full recovery. And I know my countrymen join me in that. In his brief reign, he has shown admirable leadership, moral clarity, and ability to inspire the best in humanity and his people.
"So we are concerned for him. We need him. We want him to be strong, and we want him to get well soon."
