Early May General Election now MORE likely, Olivia Utley reveals

In an exclusive chat for GB News members, Political Correspondent Olivia Utley suggests an early General Election could now be more likely
Speaking to GB News Community Editor Michael Heaver in Westminster, Olivia gave her assessment as to whether Prime Minister Rishi Sunak could call a snap May election.
Giving her assessment after Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's recent Autumn Statement, Olivia said: "I think it is more likely only because of Jeremy Hunt, when he made the statement, introduced this this 2p cut in National Insurance.
"Which will actually increase the amount of money in the average taxpayers pocket.
Olivia went on to explain that: "Normally when a measure like that is brought in at the Autumn Statement, it would come into effect. It would be implemented in April.
"Jeremy Hunt has decided to fast track this proposal and implement it in January.
"Instead, he's going as far as to introduce emergency legislation to get this over the line as quickly as possible.
"Now, why would he be so keen to bring it forward by three months, from April to January, unless the Conservatives are thinking about a May election?
"And want people to be feeling a little bit richer by the time they're going to the voting booths?"
