The Brazil international is set to become the latest big name to move to the Middle East

Neymar was snubbed by three Premier League teams before his imminent move to Al Hilal, according to reports.

The Brazil international is poised to move to the Middle East after six inconsistent years at PSG.

Neymar often produced the goods but was unable to fire the French side to Champions League glory, while injuries also hampered him during his time in Paris.

Earlier this summer it emerged that PSG wanted to cut the 31-year-old loose.

And The Independent say Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City were all offered the former Barcelona and Santos star.

None of the three teams decided to take the bait, however.

United have moved away from Galactico signings under Erik ten Hag, with the Dutchman keen to bring in young players instead.

Chelsea didn't appear to be interested, with Neymar previously blowing hot and cold under Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino during their time at PSG together.

And with Manchester City already well-stocked for firepower, they opted against signing Neymar as well.

The report says Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were also offered the chance to sign Neymar.

Real, however, have spent most of their budget on Jude Bellingham and are bracing themselves to land Kylian Mbappe next summer.

As for Bayern, Harry Kane was always their priority with the England captain recently touching down from Tottenham.

Former club Barcelona were the only European team to show any interest in Neymar.

However, they were unable to strike a deal with the Catalan giants proposing a loan with an option to buy next year.

Neymar's time in Europe is now over.

And it'll be fascinating to see how the Brazilian fares away from PSG, having failed to justify his huge £200million fee during his time at the Parc des Princes.

Neymar is moving to Al Hilal for a fee of around £77.6m.

He will reportedly be paid six times more than his current salary, with the player primed to pocket £129.2m a year.

However, Neymar could actually earn even more due to various clauses in his contract. As a result, he may gazump Cristiano Ronaldo to become the best-paid player in the world.

Neymar becomes the latest big name to leave PSG this summer.

Lionel Messi has already departed, with the Argentina international moving to MLS side Inter Miami.

Mbappe had, until recently, also expected to leave. He'll now be staying after deciding to extend his contract by a further year.

Mauro Icardi has been sold to Galatasaray, while Xavi Simons will be spending the season on loan at RB Leipzig.
