Americans have ‘bad will’ towards Meghan and Harry - ‘They’re airing their dirty laundry!’

After a short stint in Canada, they moved to California. Since leaving the UK the pair have criticised the Royal Family heavily.

Speaking to Patrick Christys on GBN America Lauren Chen said: "In the United States, as in the UK, the whole situation with Megan and Harry people see a lot of divisiveness, but not on the part of the Royal Family.

"Now, Megan and Harry, they've gone on their media press tours. They've gone on their book tours trying to explain, oh how the Royal Family has wronged us.

"I think a lot of people stateside are still struggling to see how this family, who from what we can see by all accounts, did make an effort to accept Meghan into the family and appreciate the cultural differences, the differences in background, in return were met with scorn.

"They were revealing the family's dirty laundry. There's a lot of bad will, I think, toward Meghan Markle just because of that."

This comes after it was revealed that King Charles was diagnosed with a form of cancer.

Earlier this week Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King was unwell and Harry flew straight out to see him, leaving Meghan and their two children at home.

Chen explained: "I understand there are different opinions. Should she have gone and maybe used this very serious news as a way to extend an olive branch and try to put everything behind them? Instead, she stayed in California.

"I guess it could be argued that she doesn't want to make this whole situation about her, but at the same time, The King is her father-in-law.

"I think it is outrageous to think that perhaps she could use this news to extend her well wishes and to try to make amends herself with King Charles."

It has been reported that whilst Harry was in the UK he did not visit his brother Prince William. Since moving to the US the Sussexes have criticised William's wife Princess Kate.

Chen said: "When it comes to the brothers, I think there's a lot of animosity and tension there, rightfully so.

"This also comes on the heels of Meghan launching another attack against Princess Kate.

"I just can't imagine that this is going to be a comfortable reunion for everybody, which is so sad because ultimately health news like this, it's a reminder for us all that we should cherish our loved ones.

"But I don't believe that the Markles, as I like to call them, Harry and Meghan, they're really in a position to put everything they've done behind them when it seems like just last week they were still trading blows with the royals."
