Michael Knowles has raged at the Mary Poppins film being accused of racism by a UK film board.
The Daily Wire host joined Patrick Christys on GBN America to hit out at the “inversion of culture”, claiming popular figures “dressed like demons” are afforded more favourable publicity compared to classic products that have been revered.
It comes after the classic film had its UK age rating lifted from U to PG almost 60 years after its release because of “discriminatory language”.
The 1964 production, starring Dame Julie Andrew and Dick Van Dyke, used the Colonia term Hottentots, a derogatory word historically used by white Europeans to refer to the Khoikhoi people in South Africa.

Knowles fumed at the decision, saying standards are hard to decipher given how the exploits of several popular culture figures.
“It shows you what a total inversion we have undergone in our culture”, he said.
“It’s not a battle between being sensitive and just letting anything go, it’s a battle of standards.
“At the same time we have culture promoting Cardi B and Dora Cat jiggling about dressed as demons wearing basically no clothing.
“We have Lil Nas X pretending to copulate on Satan himself.
“At the time that’s all going on, we’re being told Dick Van Dyke is terribly offensive. It’s not the creation of new taboos, it’s the inversion of taboos.
Mary Poppins has been rated a PGDISNEY “I would imagine society was a lot happier back in the days of Dick Van Dyke.”
Popular culture was not the only thing the Daily Wire host vented his frustration at during his GBN America discussion with Patrick Christys.
Speaking on his recent CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) appearance, he reflected on branding marriage an “institution” as he lamented the Left for “radical sexual indoctrination”.
“The marriage involves both a man and a woman and that is considered quite right-wing and traditional”, he said.
“But it is something virtually every single person on Earth agreed with until roughly 2014 or 2015.
“When they accuse us of trying to take society back to the 1950s, we would only be going back to about 2014.
“The Democrats are obsessed with sex. Joe Biden said it’s the key to a happy life and happy marriage.
“It lies at the very heart of human nature.
“Family is the bedrock political institution and the way that we relate to sex.
“This is why you see the push for radical sexual indoctrination in elementary schools.
“You get this constant sort of sexual propaganda in the media.”
