Mark Dolan has delivered an emotional tribute to The Office star Ewen MacIntosh.
Tributes poured in after MacIntosh's management company, Just Right Management, announced his passing at the age of 50.
A statement read: “With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved comedy genius Ewen MacIntosh.
“His family thank all who supported him, especially Willow Green care home. There will be a private cremation for family & close friends soon & a celebratory memorial later in the year.”
GB News’ Mark Dolan has paid an emotional tribute to the star he was friends with since university.
“Ewen and I were really old friends, we went to uni together at Edinburgh”, he said.

“That’s where we both did performing. I was doing comedy, he was doing comedy and acting.
“We used to do an improvised comedy show that was a bit like Whose Line Is It Anyway? on a Friday night at the theatre.
“From day one, he was the nicest guy. He was really gentle, really kind and obviously really funny.”
Mark says he will be ‘greatly missed’ by friends and fans alike.
