Tennis legend Novak Djokovic plans to continue his professional career until at least the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, according to Lacoste CEO Thierry Guibert.
Despite recent inconsistent performances and speculation about retirement, the Serbian star appears determined to extend his career for several more years.
"Novak would like to continue playing at least until the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028," Guibert revealed.
The news comes after fellow tennis greats Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray announced their retirements last year, fuelling rumours that Djokovic might follow suit.

Djokovic last claimed a Grand Slam title at the 2023 US Open and secured his first Olympic gold medal at Paris 2024.
Guibert also disclosed that Lacoste is currently in discussions with Djokovic regarding a renewal of their sponsorship agreement.
"We are discussing the renewal right now and I have no doubt that we will find a convenient agreement for both parties within a few weeks," the CEO stated.

The partnership has been fruitful for both sides, with Guibert noting Djokovic's significant impact on the brand.
"Since this collaboration began, he has won half of his Grand Slam titles with us. He has made a significant contribution to the development of the brand in recent years," he added.
