The two Brits could finally face off against each other
On Tuesday, Tony Bellew stunned the boxing world by saying he'd heard 'rumours' that Anthony Joshua's potential fight with Tyson Fury was back on.
And Eddie Hearn has admitted that AJ's January fight with Deontay Wilder could end up falling apart, even if negotiations remain ongoing.
Bellew told Bitcoin Casinos: “I am hearing rumours that [talks between AJ & Wilder’s camps] have stopped at the minute and [AJ’s camp] are looking more towards Fury vs AJ again instead of AJ and Wilder.
"The talk is of another fight going to Africa, which would be absolutely incredible.

"Rumble in the Jungle all over again in Zaire or something along those lines.”
Hearn insists Joshua remains in talks with Wilder over an exciting showdown in the New Year.
However, the boxing promoter also admitted the fight wasn't guaranteed to happen.
The Matchroom Boxing chief told iFL TV: "Talks are ongoing. We are still in the same position of a January fight.
"If we don't conclude that fight and they about moving it to February or March, we will probably fight in December.
"Wilder is talking about fighting in October, but it's already September now."
He then added: "He will wait to fight Wilder in January.
He's training now. He wants to fight in December.
"If they turned around and said, 'Let's do the Wilder fight in December' he'd do it.
"But everybody is talking like it's happening, but until it's happening it ain't on.
"Until it's on, we'll keep our options open for December.
"Ideally, we'd like to go straight into the Wilder fight."
Even if Joshua and Fury were to agree a fight, however, it's hard to see that happening this year.
Fury is currently focused on his upcoming battle against Francis Ngannou, with the former UFC champion switching sports.
The 'Gyspy King' has won 33 fights from a possible 34 throughout his career, drawing just one along the way.
Fury is the overwhelming favourite as a result, especially given his victories over Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte in recent battles.
But his father, John, thinks the 35-year-old won't have it easy and hailed Ngannou by saying: "I hold him in the highest esteem and the highest regard.

"He's world champion at his game, he's taking on the best in the world, taking it seriously and I do believe he's going to bring the smoke.
"I'm expecting Tyson to come out with a broken leg or a broken arm.

"He's not going to come out unscathed and I'm glad they're paying him well because if they weren't paying him well I wouldn't put him in against Francis Ngannou.
"He's going to get knocked about, Tyson, and he knows that.
"Exhibition my backside, they're going to kill each other them pair."
