Illegal Chinese migrants have learned how to enter the US through a small gap in the southern border fence after watching step-by-step instructions on TikTok, an investigation has revealed.
The southern border in Texas has seen a surge of migrants with US Customs and Border Protection recording 1.5 million instances of detaining or turning away people attempting to cross the border last year.
It has been reported that one of the fastest growing groups moving into the US are Chinese migrants.
Many have been spotted coming through a four-foot gap at the end of a border fence 60 miles east of San Diego.

According to CBS News, migrants knew about this specific entryway into California by watching videos on TikTok.
When asked how they learned about the entry, a translator said: "TikTok, TikTok."
Journalist Sharyn Alfonsi replied: "Oh you learned on TikTok."
Videos on the social media platform show step-by-step instructions for hiring smugglers and detailed directions to the four-foot gap at the end of a border fence.

Field reporter Julio Rosas and "Confucius Never Said" author Helen Raleigh discussed what has motivated Chinese immigrants to come to the US.
"They were really driven by, first of all, the open invitation of our lawless border," Raleigh told Fox News.
"Everybody else is doing it, facing no consequences, so they are following those examples. And secondly, but most importantly, they were driven by China's, political, ongoing political persecution and a deteriorating economic situation.
"Nobody feels safe in China, and… on the economic front, there's a high youth unemployment rate. The stock markets are deteriorating.

"People saw the biggest drop of their salaries last year, as well as the property market, slumping and the property market especially hurting people's confidence because over 70 per cent of the Chinese people have their personal wealth tied to properties.
"So all these factors combined are driving people to come here."
In fiscal year 2021, there were only 450 Chinese migrants apprehended, in contrast to 2,176 and 24,314 in fiscal years 2022 and 2023 respectively.
A TikTok spokesperson said: "TikTok strictly prohibits human smuggling which we remove from our platform and report to law enforcement when warranted."
