David Beckham has shocked fans after revealing a "feast" he was tucking into.
The 47-year-old ex-England international footballer took to Instagram to share his meal, which signified his preferred delicacy remains rooted in London's East End.

Beckham said the meal is "one of his favourites," and it features coleslaw, mushy peas, baked beans, pineapple slices, chips and fried eggs.

Instagram users have taken to the social media platform to share their opinions on the meal, with one saying: "Coleslaw and mushy peas? Has everyone gone berserk?"
Another user disagreed, however, insisting: "Perfectly acceptable dinner. Egg goes well with gammon, coleslaw with pineapple, chips with peas."
Beckham was born in Leytonstone and has a taste for East End comfort food such as jellied eels.
