Fans feeling the impact of the cost of living crisis have hit out at Arsenal over their eye-watering food prices.
The uproar erupted as an Arsenal fan posted a picture of a portion of chips on Twitter that set him back £12.60.
Football fans have taken to social media to express their shock at the sum.
One user, Jimmy, quipped: "Deposit for a house in Rochdale that."
Another added: "£12.60! Absolutely insane, those prices wouldn't last two minutes in Glasgow."
The pictured chilli cheese fries are served at the club's Emirates Stadium to fans who stump up £12.60 for the product.
The serving comes topped with spring onions, small pieces of meat and cheese sauce.
A home fan shared the image of his food online, before it was shared on Twitter page Footy Scran.
Another user, called Matt, commented: "I hope the food price includes a match ticket, tour of the stadium and a lift home on the first team coach."
Arsenal's food prices have caused controversy in the past, with Footy Scran reporting in December that a burger and chips cost £18.05.
An image of the serving shows the burger coming with two slices of cheese, a piece of bacon, and a slice of tomato, while served on a cardboard platter.
The Twitter account has also shared some of the more economical options at football games across the UK, with Barnsley, for example, offering £5 Lebanese chicken flatbreads and pigs in blankets at Oxford City costing £3.50.
