Electric car charging chaos rages on with drivers vowing to ditch EVs and 'go back to diesel'
Some drivers have even suggested that they will ditch their electric cars because of charging issues

Electric vehicle drivers are reportedly getting into furious debates with each other because of a lack of charging points, with some even vowing to give their EVs back.
Some drivers are even claiming they need to wake up in the middle of the night to charge their vehicle when demand for chargers is at a lower rate.
Experts have been critical of the spread of electric car charging stations around the country, with London and the South East of England having almost half of all UK chargers.
Some are concerned that the North of England, as well as Wales and Northern Ireland, are being left behind with the charging infrastructure.

The latest charging data from Zapmap shows there are 48,450 devices across more than 29,000 locations around the UK.
Around 2,700 EV charging devices were added last month, with many experts hoping to hit the 50,000 charger landmark this month.
Chargers in Greater London and the South East make up around 45.9 per cent of all chargers across the UK.
Ken McMeikan, chief executive of Moto, said people were “very angry and stressed” because of long waits at EV charging stations.
One frustrated, Ray Lee, motorist said: “Sometimes I get up at 4am or 5am just to charge the car, because I know it would be busy in the day.”
The 72-year-old added that he was fed up with electric vehicles, saying he would be giving his second EV – an MG – back to the dealership.
He said: “I am giving it back next week because of the stress. I will go back to my diesel car because it's easier,” he told MailOnline.
While there are around 400,000 electric vehicle chargers at homes and workplaces, many do not have access to charging on their street.
When parking overnight, drivers would ideally plug in and wake up to see their car fully charged, but now some motorists are waking up in the middle of the night to charge at motorway services.
Ray Lee, an Uber driver from Essex, said he would wake up in the middle of the night to avoid the long queues at the start of the day.
The father-of-four continued, saying: “There aren't enough charging points.
“There's one in Grays and two near the Sainsbury's, so when people say they are taking too long they start fighting. I've not seen it get violent but they argue with each other.
“One time I had to go to Basildon (15 miles away) to charge my car at the BP station there.”

He also claimed that the charging points were sometimes out of service and once waited from 7.30pm until 4.30am just to charge his car.
