Alan Wilder lived in a mega mansion in the UK for years

Alan Wilder is known as a musician who enjoyed success as part of Depeche Mode.

He lived in a lavish home in the small town of Itchingfield.

Located in West Sussex, there is plenty of nature for those in the area to take advantage of.

The village is peaceful and Alan enjoyed privacy on a 28.86 acre estate.

The stunning mansion was built in 1936 and is a staggering 11,871 square feet.

It includes a whopping eight bedrooms, three bathrooms, a reception hall, a dining room and a sitting room.

There are also luxuries inside, such as a pool and sauna.

What's more, it had lots to keep visitors entertained with a tennis court, gym and steam room.

Alan lived in the property until earlier this year when he listed it for £4.5million.

The singer decided to move with a heavy heart but said he would not go far.

He said: “I have really loved being in this area. We are probably not going to move far away.

"We’ve had a few gatherings over the years, decade parties, 40s, 50s, 60s.
