Cole Palmer fired back at Chelsea's critics after their Club World Cup victory against PSG on Sunday, with broadcaster DAZN forced to apologise for his X-rated response.
Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 to win the Club World Cup at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, to become the first team to win the tournament twice, with their first triumph coming back in 2021.
The England international, who orchestrated Chelsea's triumph with two goals and an assist, did not hold back when addressing those who had written off his team's chances against the French champions.
The explicit comment prompted the broadcaster to cut away from Palmer mid-interview, with DAZN subsequently apologising on air for any offensive language viewers may have heard during the live coverage.

"Everyone has talked a lot of s**t about us all season but I feel like we are going in the right direction," Palmer said in his post-match interview.
Palmer's exceptional performance proved instrumental in Chelsea's shock victory over the heavily favoured Parisian side, with the 23-year-old producing what he described as a "masterclass" display.

The England international found the net twice within the opening half-hour, delivering two strikes that were remarkably similar in their execution and precision.
His influence extended beyond goalscoring, as he turned provider to set up Chelsea's third goal just before half-time, cementing the Blues' commanding position in the match.

"It's a great feeling. Even better because everyone doubted us before the game, we knew that. To put a fight on like we did, it's good," Palmer said after the match.
The midfielder added that he particularly relishes playing in finals, stating simply: "I like finals. It's happened again."
His creative brilliance was further demonstrated when he provided what was described as a "sublime assist" for January signing Joao Pedro, extending Chelsea's advantage to three goals just two minutes before the interval.

The combination of Palmer's brace and his assist meant Chelsea entered half-time with a commanding lead that few had predicted against the French giants, who had been widely tipped as favourites for the prestigious trophy.
Palmer reserved particular praise for manager Enzo Maresca, crediting the Italian's tactical preparation for creating the conditions that allowed him to flourish against PSG.
"The gaffer put a great gameplan out. He knew where the space was going to be. He tried to free me up as much as possible and I just had to repay him and score some goals," Palmer explained.

"He is building something special, something important," Palmer said of his manager, reinforcing his earlier defence of the team against their detractors.
