Bob Geldof has lived in a picturesque part of the UK for more than 35 years

Bob Geldof shot to fame in the Boomtown Rats and has maintained popularity as a singer, songwriter and political activist.

Born in Ireland, he chose a quiet part of England to settle down in.

Bob has lived in the market town of Faversham since the 1980s.

He would also visit Midge Ure's home through the years, which had a built-in recording studio.

Faversham is a peaceful area in Kent, perfect for a relaxing walk or a day browsing at the markets.

Faversham has large lakes and lots of greenery to enjoy a peaceful walk in.

Those who have visited have given it an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars on Tripadvisor.
