Jackie Apostel, the girlfriend of the Beckhams' youngest son, Cruz, appears to have taken a thinly veiled dig at Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham amid the family's ongoing feud.
The comments come after the Beckham clan presented a show of solidarity in Paris yesterday evening as Victoria collected one of France's most distinguished cultural accolades.
Sir David and Lady Beckham attended the ceremony alongside three of their four children — Romeo, Cruz, and Harper — marking their first public outing together since Brooklyn's damaging social media revelations seven days ago.
The 26-year-old, who now uses the surname Peltz-Beckham, was absent from the occasion where his mother received the Chevalière de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture. His wife Nicola was similarly not present.

Brooklyn's Instagram statement last week contained a series of explosive allegations against his parents. The aspiring chef accused Sir David and Victoria of "controlling" behaviour and claimed they had repeatedly shown disrespect towards his wife of four years.
Among the specific accusations, he alleged his mother withdrew from designing Nicola's wedding gown at the last moment and danced with him "inappropriately" at his wedding.
He also claimed his father had refused to meet him unless his wife was excluded from gatherings around the time of Sir David's 50th birthday celebration. Brooklyn declared he had no desire to mend relations with his family, describing their dynamic as "performative" and "inauthentic."
However, in a seemingly loaded statement, Ms Apostel took to Instagram after Victoria's honour in the French capital to contradict the claims made by the singer's eldest son, branding her boyfriend's mother as "kind" and "respectful".

"You lift us all up constantly, and it's so beautiful to witness your hard work be recognised. We love you!"
Ms Apostel wasn't the only romantic interest of one of the Beckham children to gush over Victoria, either. Romeo's partner, Kim Turnbull, similarly painted a very different picture of her relationship with the Spice Girl.
"A true inspiration, role model and example to us all. We love you," Ms Turnbull wrote to her other half's parent.

|Elsewhere, the Beckhams' youngest child and daughter, Harper Beckham, reacted to her mum's honour by simply branding her "my biggest role model".
The comments were in response to Victoria after she had shared her gratitude for the accolade on social media.
"I am so honoured [...] I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art," she penned.
"So, to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication," she wrote.
The former Spice Girl extended particular thanks to her husband, describing him as her "original investor."
"I couldn't be more grateful, you are my everything," she added.
Neither Sir David nor Victoria have publicly addressed Brooklyn's accusations, although the former footballer did admit his children had "made mistakes" on social media soon after.
