Watch 3 Pro is available to order today in the UK

Fresh off the back of releasing its first flagship Android smartphone and £299 noise-cancelling Headphone (1), British upstart Nothing has launched a brand-new smartwatch to compete with established brands like Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Whoop. The new wearable has been released under CMF by Nothing sub-brand, which specialises in affordable gadgets that still boast the sleek designs that has won so many awards for the London-based brand.

Watch 3 Pro from CMF by Nothing comes equipped with health tracking features, a new AI-powered coach, and a bold design made from precision-milled metal.

Despite being CMF by Nothing's "most intelligent smartwatch yet," it costs just £99. That's less than the entry-level pair of AirPods from Apple.

The CMF by Nothing's all-new Watch 3 Pro features a 1.43″ circular AMOLED display, dual‑band GPS, a four‑channel heart‑rate sensor, and 131 sports modes. It offers up to 13-day battery life, hands-free Bluetooth calling, gesture control, and integrates with the Nothing X app. It's available to order in the UK now direct from the nothing.tech online store for less than an entry-level pair of AirPods

“We designed Watch 3 Pro to be the perfect starting point for anyone beginning their health and fitness journey,” said Andrew Freshwater, Head of Smart Products Marketing at Nothing. "Whether you’re getting into running, building better habits, or just want something that looks great on your wrist, Watch 3 Pro delivers a smart, stylish experience that makes it easy to stay on track without overcomplicating things."

Watch 3 Pro from CMF looks closer to a traditional timepiece than some fitness-focused smartwatches, with a circular 1.43” AMOLED display. The designers at Nothing have slimmed down the bezels compared to earlier smartwatches from the brand to expand the screen-to-body ratio by 10%. The touchscreen supports always-on mode too, so you won't need to flick your wrist to see the time (handy if you need to sneakily check during a meeting... )

Even with an always-on display, Nothing estimates that you'll be able to last 4.5 days before you need to recharge the smartwatch. However, that battery life skyrockets to 13 days between charges under typical use without the always-on display, and only drops to 11 days with heavier tracking, the British brand claims.

With over 120 different options to choose from your the watch faces, including videos, photos, and AI-generated imagery via Watch Face Studio, it might be worth taking the hit on battery life to see the clockface at all times. Watch 3 Pro supports fullscreen or mini widgets for fitness, weather, music, or reminders.

When it does come time to charge, you'll be able to refill the built-in battery to 100% in just 99 minutes.

Despite its affordable price tag, Watch 3 Pro is built to be durable. The case is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, so you can wear it in the shower or the pool. However, that industry-standard rating means it's limited to 1.5-metres in depth, so don't take the Watch 3 Pro diving, like you can with an Apple Watch.

Choose from 131 sports modes and stay on track with a personalised running coach that builds and adjusts plans based on your fitness. The watch can automatically detects seven core activities, so you never miss a session even if you forget to hit start.

Nothing says its new wearable arrives with a redesigned four-channel heart rate sensor that improves accuracy across all skin tones and workout intensities.

And that's not all. In addition to heart rate and sleep, Watch 3 Pro includes advanced health tracking tools such as blood oxygen monitoring (SpO₂), stress tracking, guided breathing exercises, hydration and inactivity reminders, and women’s health support, offering a full view of your wellbeing every day.

Like some of its latest smartphones and earbuds, Nothing has worked to integrate ChatGPT so you can ask questions, get facts, or set reminders, all using natural-language voice prompts.

A built-in voice recorder on the smartwatch with auto-transcription helps capture notes or ideas on the go, and an Essential News tool delivers daily digests based on your interests. An additional microphone has been added to improve sound quality when you're talking on the phone via the Watch 3 Pro.

The award-winning designers at London-based Nothing have used precision-milled metal for the case of the new IP68-rated Watch 3 Pro

All CMF smartwatches — including Watch Pro and Watch Pro 2 — are transitioning to the Nothing X app, offering improved stability, a refreshed user interface, and smarter tools for health, fitness, and personalisation. This is the same app used to manage Nothing Headphone (1), so you'll be able to check-in with your smartwatches and audio kit in one place, with support for Strava, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect.

It costs £99 and is available to buy in the UK direct from Nothing.tech today, with more retailers set to follow. It'll take a little longer for this affordable smartwatch to launch in some regions worldwide, like India, where the release is scheduled for later in the year.
