Former Manchester United chief executive David Gill has told Omar Berrada how he can get off to a successful start at Old Trafford.
United have pinched Berrada from rivals Manchester City and he will begin his role as CEO at the end of the current season.
The Red Devils are undergoing a major overhaul in their sporting hierarchy following Sir Jim Ratcliffe's investment.
Ratcliffe's purchase of 25 per cent of United's shares is set to be ratified this month in a deal worth around £1.3billion.

Former British Cycling supremo Sir Dave Brailsford is already confirmed to be following the INEOS chief to United.
But with Richard Arnold leaving his role as CEO at the end of 2023, United were in need of finding a replacement.
They didn't have to look far, luring Berrada from three-time back-to-back Premier League winners and local rivals City.
The deal was confirmed in January but he will serve a six-month gardening leave period before taking up his role at United.
Gill, who had a hugely successful partnership with legendary former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, has approved Berrada's arrival.
His first two pieces of advice for Berrada are to ensure he works closely with Brailsford and the recruitment staff, as well as aligning good sponsorship deals with performance on the pitch.
Appearing on Rio Ferdinand's YouTube channel Five, Gill said: "Firstly, I think appointing someone from outside is a good idea, someone with new ideas and a new perspective coming from a very successful club.
"[My advice would be to] really focus in with Dave Brailsford and those on the recruitment and negotiation side, really understand that.
"Get the focus back on that, get it working better to deliver the players.
"We have just negotiated an extension with Adidas, a great deal there, and we've got sponsors coming in all the time so that is working pretty well. But if you align that with a team performance you're doing even better."
Gill's third piece of advice for Berrada is to give 'hope' and 'aspiration' to every member of staff at the club.
He claims they need to be galvanised after a difficult few years both on and off the pitch.

Gill added: "Rio will know this from Carrington and myself at Old Trafford, there are lots of people who work there.
"Clubs have lots of people who have been there for many years, love the club and they just need a bit of hope, a bit of aspiration and that will galvanise them to work harder and be more motivated.
"To me, that's what's needed. Then getting back to the philosophy that we are all one club.
"The ability as a good manager is to manage downwards, do it in the ticket office, the people working the electricity, that sort of thing.

"If you can show that sort of empathy with all the employees he'll make a great start."
United have seen an upturn in form in 2024 and are currently unbeaten in all competitions this calendar year.
Sunday's 3-0 win over West Ham leapfrogged them above their opponents into sixth, still eight points behind the automatic Champions League qualification places.
