Lewis Hamilton has a cryptic message for fans just days after unfollowing Ferrari before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Hamilton fulfilled his dream of racing in red when he signed for Ferrari last year, penning a contract supposedly worth £40-million-a-year.
After struggling with Mercedes for his final few years with the team, the seven-time world champion was hoping his switch to the Scuderia would propel him back to the sharp end of the field.
So far, that has yet to happen, with Hamilton struggling to get to grips with his new vehicle - a brilliant sprint race in China aside.

This led to Hamilton to tell the team to “Have a tea break while you’re at it!”
After the race he eased tensions within the team saying “you’re never going to get the most peaceful messages” during the heat of battle.

For reasons unknown, Hamilton has unfollowed everyone on his social media profile, including Ferrari, his foundation, clothing, and drinks brands, and even his dog’s page.
He has now posted for the first time since the purge.
The post is a photo of his younger self with a simple caption, ‘the kid ~'.

It remains unclear as to what this post is supposed to mean.
This is not the first time the Stevenage-born racer has had a mass unfollowing online on Instagram. He did it following the conclusion of the 2021 World Championship, where he lost the championship to Max Verstappen on the final lap.
