Max Verstappen has shown he isn't afraid of a little competition after admitting he wouldn't be against Lewis Hamilton joining him at Red Bull.
Christian Horner has caused controversy by saying a member of the 38-year-old's team approached him over a sensational switch.
Horner said, however, that Red Bull didn't want or need Hamilton at the current moment in time.
That prompted the Stevenage-born racer to furiously hit back, with Hamilton accusing the 50-year-old of 'stirring'.

Yet Verstappen, who has had a tense rivalry with Hamilton throughout his career, has mischievously said he wouldn't 'mind' the pair being team-mates.
However, he also shut down speculation by saying that was unlikely to ever happen.
“What would it add to know?" he said.
"I don’t know, it’s not happening. There’s no point to make up stories if it’s not happening.
“I wouldn’t mind. I don’t want to like put it particularly on Lewis, there’s so many great drivers.
"So yeah, sometimes it doesn’t work out like that.
Hamilton is a driver who prefers his team-mate to let him take centre stage.
That was one of the reasons he frequently clashed with Nico Rosberg before the German retired from te sport in 2016.
Hamilton also had issues with Fernando Alonso during their spell at Mclaren together, too.
And it's an open secret he enjoyed being on the same side at Valtteri Bottas, who was often happy for the veteran to take the spotlight.
Horner told the Daily Mail that a member of Hamilton's team had contacted him, though insisted a transfer would never work.
"We have had several conversations over the years about Lewis joining. They have reached out a few times," he said.
"Most recently, earlier in the year, there was an inquiry about whether there would be any interest.
"He met John Elkann (Ferrari chairman), too. I think there were serious talks.
"It was around Monaco (in May). There were definitely conversations, perhaps with Vasseur, too. But certainly with Elkann.
"But I can't see Max and Lewis working out together.
"The dynamic wouldn't be right. We are 100 per cent happy with what we have."
Hamilton was relaxed about the comments, however, and insisted Horner had actually approached him instead of the other way around.
"I don't really know where that story has come from," he responded.
"I don't really understand what he's been talking about.
"As far as I'm concerned no one from my team has spoken to Christian, I haven't spoken to Christian really in years.
"However, he did reach out to me earlier in the year about meeting up.
"That said I congratulated them on an amazing year and said I hope I'll be able to fight against you guys in the near future.
"That was it. I'm not really sure. I think he's just stirring things."

When asked why Horner would want to do that, Hamilton continued: "There aren't any confidential discussions.
"I know Christian. He loves that kind of stuff.
"I would [100 per cent] be happy to race against Verstappen in an equal car.
"If it means moving...Red Bull has done an amazing job and it is an amazing team.
"Any driver would love to drive for such a great group of people.
"I think moving to a car that's not so great to a winning car, from my perspective, is not my dream. My dream is to always start when we kind of are to build up to then winning. And that's why I stayed with Mercedes."
