Prince Andrew is "playing with fire" according to a royal commentator, who told GB News that the Duke "does not realise he is finished".
Tom Bower warned that Prince Andrew would be "destroyed in court" if he decides to take on Virginia Roberts in a second legal battle.
The Duke of York reached a civil settlement with his accuser Roberts last year regarding a sexual assault case, which stated the settlement was not an admission of guilt.
Bower said: "Well, I think Andrew's playing with fire again and the problem with Andrew is he wants to get back into the public limelight.
The Duke of York has not been a working member of the Royal Family for over three years

"I mean he's been egged on no doubt by his ex-wife and a couple of PR people who should know better.
"He really believes that if he pleads that he's gonna be kicked out of his 78-room home and not having any money people will say oh poor, poor Andrew."
The royal commentator continued: "He has a lot to lose in the sense that he could actually be completely ostracised.
"At least he's gonna be allowed to live in some genteel obscurity. But he wants to get right back and what he doesn't realise is he can't take on Virginia Roberts again.
"He'll be destroyed in court. He'll be destroyed if he tries to undo the settlement.
'He doesn't realise that he's finished. He doesn't want to accept that.
"And what's even worse is he doesn't learn.
"Andrew is somebody who really is so stupid, so conceited, and so arrogant, that he just will never learn that he now has blown it. They should shut up."

Earlier this week it was reported that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have been left "distraught" as King Charles has slashed a pivotal grant that helps his brother upkeep his mansion.
A source said: “It feels as though his brother wishes to evict him.”
They continued: “Andrew and Sarah are distraught they have been given such short notice. The Queen died only a few months ago.
“He’s not being explicitly kicked out but it’s expected that he won’t be able to afford the maintenance. Royal Lodge has a swimming pool, 98 acres of land and is already in need of some repair.”
