The Royal Family has been warned that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex cannot be trusted at King Charles III's Coronation

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have launched an "avalanche" of material for the Royal Family to deal with in the last six weeks.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pursuing a "vendetta" against the Royal Family.

Fitzwilliams also described Meghan and Harry's rift with the Royal Family as "unprecedented" and "bitter".

He said: "For the last six weeks, there has been an avalanche of material from the Sussexes.

"In December the six-hour Netflix docu-series preceded by several trailers aired.

"A brief truce over Christmas was ended when Harry’s memoir Spare and several television interviews promoting it had vast international coverage.

"He appeared to threaten another memoir when asking for an apology from the Royal Family in the recent Telegraph interview."

Fitzwilliams continued: "This really is unprecedented territory and the Sussexes, in pursuing their vendetta against the Royal Family, are totally unpredictable.

"There are rumours that Meghan may write her memoirs.

"The rift with the Royal Family is both public and bitter and I cannot see how Harry or Meghan could possibly be trusted in any future dealings with them as the Coronation approaches."

Fitzwilliams also criticised the inaccuracies in the Duke of Sussex's autobiography Spare.

He highlighted Prince Harry's "serious error" regarding his location at the time of his great-grandmother's death.

Prince Harry wrote he was at Eton when he found out of the Queen Mother's death, when he was in fact on a skiing trip with Charles and William.

The royal commentator added: "This is a serious error in a hugely controversial book.

"That Harry is clearly wrong in his recollection of the facts as to where he was when the Queen Mother died leaves doubt as to how closely this book has been fact-checked.

"One wonders how many other factual errors are to be found within its pages."
