The Home Secretary gives a wide-ranging sit down interview to Economics and Business Editor Liam Halligan

Suella Braverman tonight gives her verdict on Rishi Sunak's Brexit negotiations to GB News in her first sit down TV interview as Home Secretary.

With the Prime Minister thought to be on the cusp of an agreement with the EU on the implementation of the Northern Ireland Protocol, backbench Conservative MPs and the DUP have warned the Government not to sell out to Brussels.

For days, rumours have swirled around Westminster that Braverman is ready to quit Government if Sunak's deal fails to properly address her concerns over deal with the European Commission.

This evening, in comments which are set to raise eyebrows in No10 the Home Secretary goes on the record, exclusively talks to GB News on the Brexit negotiations and on her own position.

In a wide-ranging sit down with Economics and Business Editor Liam Halligan, Braverman also gives her frank and honest assessment of the current political situation.

Vowing she's unafraid of being controversial the Fareham in Hampshire MP opens up on the Northern Ireland Protocol, the small boats crisis, trust in the Met Police, and her love for Britain.

Braverman has a long record of standing firm on her beliefs on Brexit.

In 2018 she resigned from her role in the Department for Exiting the European Union in protest at Theresa May's handling of talks.

She quit after saying she was "unable to sincerely support the deal" the then-Prime Minister was eager to press ahead with.

Braverman was one of only 25 Conservative MPs dubbed the "Brexit Spartans" who voted against May's withdrawal agreement on all three occasions in 2019 over concerns it failed to honour the pledge to "take back control".

Watch the full interview with Liam Halligan tonight on a special edition of Farage, GB News at 7pm.
