Nigel Farage has announced Zia Yusuf will take on a new Head of Policy role to help implement Reform UK’s policy agenda.
Should the party win the general election, Mr Yusuf will be entrusted to deliver major pledges like stopping small boat crossings within two weeks.
Mr Yusuf currently heads up the party’s Department of Government Efficiency, a role he took in June just two days after resigning as chairman.
He resigned his position as Chairman of Reform UK after the party became embroiled in a burqa ban row.
He then reversed his resignation following discussions with Nigel Farage, acknowledging his decision had been a hasty one made in frustration.
