The persecution of Boris Johnson made it to the House of Commons today

The persecution of Boris Johnson made it to the House of Commons today.

The opposition teamed up with Tory wets and remoaners who have long coveted an opportunity to finish the political career of the man who delivered Brexit when the establishment wanted to overturn the biggest democratic mandate in British history.

What a pathetic sight it was.

MPs doing all they can to believe it is up to them – and the MSM, especially Woke ITV and The Guardian, who were both name checked by Privileges Committee chairwoman Harriet Harman – to decide who should be Prime Minister and an MP, not the millions who voted at the general election.

Look at the contempt for any opposition when my colleague here at GB News Jacob Rees Mogg dared to challenge Harman on her obvious bias leading the kangaroo court against Boris…

Most Boris allies stayed away from this sham.

A source close to the ex-Prime Minister explained that decision to me this way…

“Boris wants people to not go at all because it’s a sham that only plays into Labour’s hands. This process is unnecessary, cruel and he’s not playing any part of it.”

That was the right call, as the hysteria from the opposition benches soon proved…

Perhaps the saddest moment tonight though – showing the Conservative party is now in a full blown civil war ¬– was the way the failed Tory wets and remoaners lined up to attack Boris, the man who secured their party a landslide majority at the last election…

Some brave Tories were prepared to speak up for Boris, however, even though he had asked them to avoid the debate altogether…

Those Tories were right to do so, especially seeing as a bombshell new poll by YouGov reveals that Boris remains far MORE popular than Fishy Rishi among Conservative voters in 2019. That’s what matters.

The media hasn’t finished though, with the apparently impartial Good Morning Britain on Woke ITV openly lobbying the Prime Minister live on air to vote against Boris…

The Commons witch hunt turned Boris Johnson into a martyr today.
