OPINION: Nana Akua said that Prince Harry is just a "sore loser"

Sore LoserPrince Harry has revealed that he doesn’t know how long his father has left to live, which implies that the King is dying.

He said: “I would love reconciliation with my family. I don’t know how much longer my father has.

"He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile. If they don’t want that, that’s entirely up to them.”

None of us know how long we have left but what a thing to say. All of this came about because Prince Harry lost his case against the Home Office and the Royal Protection Squad yesterday.

For anyone dealing with cancer, it is a frightening disease—often terminal, particularly as one gets older. But to have this possibility laid bare publicly, with no consideration for the invasion of the King's privacy, is horrifying.

Harry, if you know there may be a medically predicted timeline for your father’s life—and there is no confirmed evidence to suggest there is, only your speculation—why wouldn’t you ensure that your father gets to meet both of his grandchildren?

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

Why wouldn’t you make sure your children get to meet their grandfather, the King? They won’t thank you for denying them that.

Instead, in my view, Harry is once again using his children as emotional pawns in a badly played game of royal chess.

He claims it is too dangerous for them to come to the UK without the level of protection he sought in court—protection which, had he won, would have given lifelong security for himself and his family at the expense of the British taxpayer.

But why should we foot the bill? He is no longer a serving royal. He’s not serving his country—he’s serving himself.

He’s not a working royal. Meghan and Harry, as a pair, seem to lack compassion or consideration for anyone else's feelings. They are so consumed by their self-pity party, it’s become ugly.

Rather than leaving the King out of the self-inflicted royal mess he’s created—because he didn’t get what he wanted—Harry has dragged him into it, even claiming the legal process was a stitch-up.

In ruling on the case, the judge stated that the Duke was, in effect, stepping in and out of the cohort of protection provided to those within the UK. When in the UK, his security would be assessed and provided as appropriate.

Well, there you have it. So what part of "no" does Harry not understand? He will still receive protection—just not at the same level as when he was a working royal.

And surely that is fair. Harry, you are no longer a working royal. How many times does this need to be said? The British taxpayer is not prepared to fund your global gallivanting on faux royal tours—especially after you've repeatedly attacked your family, and your wife has leveraged the royal brand for personal profit.

Frankly, Harry, you have become a security risk to the institution of the royal family—allowing accusations of racism to swirl unchecked. What do you think that did to the royal brand? And of course, publicly revealing your kill count in Spare only put you and your own family in further danger.

Why would the King want to reconcile with you? How could he possibly trust you not to blab—or turn it into another money-making opportunity?

You brought this on yourself. And while your father, who clearly still loves you, may be allowing you to get away with it—for now—good luck with that when William becomes King.

Long live the King.
