More than 100 firefighters are tackling a fire at a historic mill used as a filming location for Peaky Blinders and Downton Abbey.
Footage has emerged of Dalton Mills, previously the largest textile mill in the Yorkshire, entirely engulfed by the blaze.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say they received a called at 12:03 local time to reports of a fire, adding that 20 crews were in attendance at the scene as they frantically attempt to get the blaze under control which has "affected 100 percent of the building."
In a separate statement, West Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance at a large fire on Dalton Lane, Keighley.
“Police are assisting the fire service and urge local residents to keep doors and windows shut.
“Road closures are currently in place, please avoid the area.”
It remains unclear what caused the incident.
Dalton Mills has been used as a filming location for several popular television series', including Peaky Blinders and Downton Abbey.
Bradford Council said "We have opened The Leisure Centre, Keighley as a rest centre to provide shelter for residents affected by the fire at Dalton Mills in Keighley."
"Strong Close Nursery will be gradually closing this afternoon to ensure the safety of the school community", Bradford Council tweeted.
The council provided an update at 17:20 to announce that it was safe for residents to return to their homes.
