Martin Daubney was embroiled in a tense debate with a Democrat on GB News as he discussed Kamala Harris’s CNN interview.
He was joined by ex-Democratic congressional candidate Qasim Rashid, who took issue with the GB News star’s pronunciation of the party’s presidential candidate.
Rashid demanded more focus on Gaza from Harris, saying an overwhelming section of Democrat followers are now in favour of a cessation of arms being sent to Israel.
“This election won’t be won in Gaza, it will be won in places like Georgia”, Martin responded.

“People are concerned about things like immigration, energy security. Kamala Harris appears to be changing position on things like fracking.
“Don’t you think it’s a bit rich for them to say they want to bring down the cost of groceries, but they won’t do it now?”

Rashid responded by correcting Martin on his pronunciation of the Democrat candidate’s first name.
The GB News star furiously hit back: “Come on, answer the point seriously.”
Rashid insisted he was being serious, but felt Harris deserved to be treated with “respect”.
He continued: “I think the Democrats have done a decent job. We have recovered from inflation post-Covid.
“Our inflation is under three per cent. We’ve recovered from price hikes better than any other country in the world.
“Passing the infrastructure bill has injected a billion dollars into the economy. Bill Clinton made an interesting point at the Democrat National Convention, over the last 45 years, 15 million jobs have been created by Democrats and less than five million by Republicans.
“We know these strategies work.”
After thanking Rashid for appearing on the show, Martin apologised for his mispronunciation of Kamala Harris’s name.
He then joked Rashid’s annoyance appeared to be more down to Martin’s stance on the Israel-Gaza conflict and how he feels Americans aren’t as concerned about international affairs.
